A penetrating water-based sealer that protects porous stone and masonry from oil and water-based stains while maintaining a natural matt finish. Suitable for internal and external use.
Description
Universeal HydroSeal Stone Sealer is an affordable water-based impregnating sealer designed to protect natural stone and masonry surfaces from oil and water-based staining while maintaining a completely natural matt appearance.
This penetrating formula soaks into the surface rather than forming a coating, helping to preserve the original look and breathability of porous stone and masonry. Suitable for both internal and external use.
Not recommended for highly polished, dense, glazed or non-porous surfaces.

Directions for Use
Ensure the surface is completely clean and dry before application.
Apply generously and evenly using a low-pressure sprayer, sponge, paint pad or natural fibre brush (roller not recommended).
Apply a second coat approximately 20–30 minutes after the first while the surface is still slightly damp internally.
Allow a minimum of 24 hours curing time before exposure to water or oil.
Application Conditions
Surface temperature should be between 5°C and 25°C.
Switch off underfloor heating prior to application.
Please Note
Protect surrounding surfaces with masking materials.
Some materials may appear slightly darker after treatment.
Always test in a small inconspicuous area before full application.
Treat entire surfaces evenly to avoid patchiness.
Does not provide protection against acid attack.
Remove splashes from wood, glass, PVC and finished surfaces immediately with a damp cloth.
Maintenance
Clean sealed surfaces using a pH-neutral cleaner such as Universeal Easy Clean.
Avoid harsh or abrasive cleaning products.

Up to 30m² per litre per coat
Coverage depends on surface porosity and texture. Additional coats may be required.
Stain Protection
Sealing improves stain resistance but does not guarantee complete stain prevention.

Storage Information
Shelf life 12 months unopened when stored at room temperature.
Use within 3 months of opening.
