Instant Stain Protection

A VOC-compliant solvent-based aerosol grout sealer that penetrates deeply to protect against oil and water-based stains while allowing the surface to breathe. Fast drying, non-yellowing and suitable for internal and external use.

Description

Universeal Grout & Tile Protector (600ml Aerosol) is a VOC-compliant solvent-based grout sealer designed to provide rapid, deep penetrating stain protection for grout and tiled surfaces.

This professional spray-on formula penetrates deep into grout lines to protect against oil and water-based staining while allowing the surface to remain fully breathable. It dries quickly, will not yellow over time and does not alter the natural appearance of the surface.

Any overspray that does not penetrate the surface will naturally dissipate and should not leave difficult residue. Suitable for both internal and external applications.

Directions for Use

1. Ensure good ventilation and wear appropriate PPE (gloves, eye protection and FFP3 vapour mask recommended).

2. Make sure surfaces are clean and free from wax, sealers or coatings.

3. Shake can well before use.

4. Spray evenly from 25–40cm distance.

5. Wipe away excess if applying to vertical surfaces.

6. Allow to dry for 1–2 hours.

7. Test with water droplets — if absorbed within 5 minutes, apply additional coats if required.

* Allow grout to harden before sealing (typically around 1 hour after grouting).

Please Note

1. Protect surrounding areas with masking materials.

2. Do not spray onto acrylic or stained surfaces (e.g. cabinets).

3. Always test in an inconspicuous area before full application.

4. Suitability for use is the responsibility of the user.

Expected Wear

Protection can last up to 20 years depending on surface type, wear and maintenance.

Maintenance

Clean treated surfaces with water or a pH-neutral cleaner.

Avoid harsh or abrasive cleaners.

Do not steam clean — steam may damage the protective seal and reduce effectiveness.

Coverage

Up to 15m² per aerosol can (depending on surface porosity).

Stain Protection

Sealing significantly improves stain resistance and durability, but does not guarantee complete stain prevention.
