Grout Rescue X Pre-Treat Cleaner is a specialist outdoor cleaning solution formulated to prepare patio grout and pointing prior to the application of Grout Rescue X Colour Sealer.
It cleans and lightly etches grout joints to ensure optimal adhesion of the colour sealing system, helping to achieve long-lasting and professional results.

This preparation stage is essential to ensure maximum bonding performance from the colour sealing treatment.
Suitable For
Outdoor patio grout lines
Cement-based pointing joints
External paving grout
Not suitable for acid-sensitive surfaces such as limestone, travertine or other calcium-based stone types.
Application Guidelines
Dilution: 1:1 with clean water
Application Method: Garden sprayer, watering can or bucket
Dwell Time: 5–15 minutes
Applications: 1–2 if required
Coverage: Approx. 50–60m² per bottle (at 1:1 dilution)
Application Notes
Always perform a small test patch before full application.
Remove loose debris prior to treatment.
Apply evenly across grout lines, ensuring joints are fully treated.
Allow to dwell for 5–15 minutes.
Lightly agitate if required and rinse thoroughly using normal hose water.
Do not rinse using a pressure washer.
Repeat on heavily soiled areas if necessary.
Important Information
Avoid overspray onto acid-sensitive surfaces and delicate plant life. If accidental contact occurs, rinse immediately with clean water.
